Grant Nickolson

Dr. Grant Nickolson grew up in Grayslake, Illinois. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Marquette University, with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Nickolson worked as a veterinary assistant before attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

Dr. Nickolson’s professional interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, and building strong relationships through effective client communication. He is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care while helping pet owners feel informed and comfortable throughout their pet’s treatment.

Dr. Nickolson lives in Chicago with his partner, Euna, and their Goldendoodle, Miso. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys playing and watching soccer (especially supporting his favorite team, Manchester City), as well as running, working out, trying new restaurants, playing disc golf, hiking, and attending concerts.
